The CV ERTF is a collaborative initiative representing the CVRD, City of Courtenay, Town of Comox, Village of Cumberland, K’ómoks First Nation, and CFB 19 Wing Comox, which will oversee the Technical Advisory Sub-Committee (TAC).
Entrepreneurial Task Force
As a serial entrepreneur from the age of 10, I am keenly aware of the challenges of small, medium and large businesses. I have worked with the Chamber of Commerce and Startup Comox Valley to help local businesses succeed. As a Mentor for FuturePreneur and LIFT Comox Valley, keynote speaker at the Sauder School of Business, and regular speaker at local High Schools and Colleges, I have worked to increase entrepreneurs expertise in Budgeting, Marketing, Human Resources, Innovation and Investment.
I will create a Task Force inviting the Chamber of Commerce and CVEDS as well as groups like LIFT Comox Valley and Startup Comox Valley. I will also invite entrepreneurs that have been successful as well as ones just starting up to make sure we include the perspectives across our community.
As your Mayor I will continue to champion local businesses and entrepreneurs, while also reaching out to companies across our country to expand their operations into Courtenay and provide jobs to local employees. As your ambassador I would attend several events across North America to showcase our amazing community with an unparalleled Quality of Life, Amenities and Activities that make our city so attractive.
