All playgrounds in Courtenay are closed. Our council has been working on this issue since last week and wanted to inform people ASAP to avoid them as part of the mission to Flatten the Curve.
I have been in talks with all elected officials to make this a Region Wide effort with each of us having our own announcements. Please be patient as we are in uncharted territory and we want to be making the best decisions to protect our citizens with the limited resources we have. Staff has begun the process to shut them down.
